This ambitious album marks a new chapter of expression for Akihiro Nishiguchi, a standout talent in the Japanese jazz scene active across a wide range of musical fields. For this project, he assembled a new "drum-less trio," flanked by top-tier musicians David Bryant (piano) and Takumi Awaya (bass), while he performs exclusively on soprano saxophone throughout the album. The trio weaves together simple compositions—intentionally devoid of rigid arrangements—through their collective creativity.
