This album marks Akira Miyazawa’s first as a leader.

It features some of Japan’s top jazz musicians, including Sadao Watanabe (alto saxophone, flute), Akira Nakano (trumpet, trombone), Takeshi Inomata (drums), and Masahiko Sato (piano). Undoubtedly one of the most important recordings in the history of Japanese modern jazz. The title reflects Miyazawa’s well-known love of fishing, and the album jacket depicts him casting a fishing line.
