This year marks the 45th anniversary of their debut, and they have further evolved with the addition of new member Jun Abe on keyboards! They have changed their band name back to the original spelling of "CASIOPEA" and have started a brilliant fifth period. Since their brilliant record debut in 1979, CASIOPEA has been at the top of the fusion scene as one of Japan's leading super bands. Their sound literally embodies their catchphrase at the time of their debut, "Thrill, Speed, Super Technique." Noro Issei's exceptional compositional ability combines familiar melodies with superb technical playing, establishing a completely new musicality that was previously unthinkable, and they have released many masterpieces such as "ASAYAKE" and "DOMINO LINE."
