Pianist Eriko Shimizu, highly sought after by leading jazz musicians for her advanced technique and unique feel, presents her ambitious piano trio project, her first in approximately eight years. Responding to Shimizu's passion, having composed all the tracks specifically for this recording, are Takashi Sugawa (bass) and Kazunori Takemura (drums), both of whom have released leader albums on Days of Delight and are bandmates in the KÅsuke Mine Quartet. These three top players, representing the pinnacle of Japanese jazz, unfold a truly unique sound, where tension and a sense of weightlessness coexist.
