This album, featuring Kazuhiko Takeda, a guitar legend and a source of pride for the Kansai jazz scene, captures a one-time special gig held at Kyoto's Live Spot RAG the night before the recording of "The Guitar Man" (DOD-009), released in September 2020, with the recording members. The interplay between Toki, possessing one of the finest blues feeling of our time, and Takeda is truly exceptional. Supported by skilled musicians Jun Miyagawa (organ) and Shingo Okudaira (drums), this album delivers a rich, bluesy, and sublime experience in a relaxed atmosphere.
