This is the first new album in eight years from jazz guitar legend Kazuhiko Takeda, who at 87 years old continues to be at the forefront of the scene. He is joined by bassist Yoshiro Kanda, with whom he has collaborated for many years, and together they play simple standards in a relaxed atmosphere. These two maestros, who know each other well, weave together exquisite blues and ballads full of soul.
