Days of Delight, a label dedicated to exploring the sounds of early 1970s Japanese jazz, proudly presents the latest work from tenor saxophonist Kōsuke Mine. His new album, "Bamboo Grove," his first in approximately eight years, explodes with the vital and emotional Mine sound delivered by his regular quartet. The recording sessions were conducted in a single room, without the use of separate booths, condensing the groove and dynamism of a live performance. Accompanied by his trusted regular band, this new album, featuring all original compositions, is truly the culmination of Kōsuke Mine's musical career.
