A rare masterpiece featuring four of the most pivotal figures in the history of Japanese free jazz: Masahiko Togashi, Masayuki Takayanagi, Mototeru Takagi, and Motoharu Yoshizawa. With Takayanagi’s guitar utilizing feedback techniques, Takagi’s dynamic tenor sax and *corn pipe* (a type of vertical flute), Yoshizawa’s incredibly free and unconstrained string work, and Togashi’s intellectual drumming—combining precision with sheer power—this album is a monumental work that truly heralded the dawn of a new era!
