Neal Miner - "I’d like to introduce the very first recording of my trio on Cellar Live! I am extremely proud to be accompanied by the supreme talents of Chris Byars on tenor saxophone and Jason Tiemann on drums. We play original music that I have been writing over the past 30 years, mostly contrafacts over classic American standard songs. Being a chordless trio gives us a chance to be free and use counterpoint and rhythm to create our sound and vision. We sincerely hope you enjoy our musical conversations."
