Also includes a touching rendition of Bobby Hutcherson's 'Rosie' in heartfelt tribute to Bobby and his wife Rosemary, as well as a poignant reading of Alec Wilder's 'The Winter of My Discontent'.
The title track was inspired by the work of Canadian artist Emily Carr whose famous 1935 painting "Scorned as Timber, Beloved of the Sky" is featured on the album?s artwork.
