Ryo Ogihara, one of Japan's most accomplished guitarists, has chosen soul music as the theme for this project. Together with Jun Miyakawa (organ)—a key figure at the forefront of the music scene—and Yasushi Fukumori (drums)—who anchors the band with a solid, powerful beat—Ogihara forms a stripped-down trio that delivers a unique, contemporary take on soul classics.
