Discovered by the master Hank Jones at the age of 13, Takashi Matsunaga made his major debut with the album "TAKASHI" at 17, and became a darling of the piano world, performing with Herbie Hancock at Tokyo Jazz 2003 that same year. Since then, he has continued to be active as a performer and composer, winning the Idemitsu Music Award and composing and performing the theme song for TV Asahi's "Hodo Station," "Open Mind," and numerous other programs and commercials. He has also collaborated with artists across a wide range of musical and cultural genres, continuing his career as a performer and composer. This album, celebrating the 15th anniversary of Matsunaga's debut this year, fully showcases his pianistic style, which has earned him immense support across a wide range of genres, including classical, pop, games, and anime.
