Trevor Griffin Sextet - Blown Away

Griffin has his finger on the pulse on this enjoyable set of originals. The sextet plays with a sense of fun but they also inject depth into a tune. A high rolling romp like Don't You Ever Clean It cavorts alongside a swinging Groove Thing, yet the mood is not stilted.
