This previously never before released performance by Norman Granz' Jazz at the Philharmonic was recorded at Carnegie Hall, New York City November 2, 1949. In the evening's opening set, featured Charlie Parker and Sonny Criss on alto saxophones, Flip Phillips on tenor sax, Fats Navarro on trumpet, Hank Jones on piano, Ray Brown on bass and Shelly Manne on drums. A must have for jazz collector's!!
