Bill Frisell - Big Sur

Bill Frisell is one of the leading and most innovative guitarists of our time. Big Sur contains all new Frisell compositions commissioned by the Monterey Jazz Festival Guitarist and is inspired by the grandeur of Glen Deven Ranch in Big Sur, California. Recorded with a band of Jenny Scheinman (violin), Carrie Rodriguez (fiddle and tenor guitar), Eyvind Kang (viola), Hank Roberts (cello) and Rudy Royston (drums) and produced by Lee Townsend.
