2016 reissue

Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1964 album includes 13 bonus tracks. Georgie Fame is an English rhythm and blues and jazz singer and keyboard player. Fame, who had a string of 1960s hits, is still a popular performer, often working with contemporaries such as Van Morrison and Bill Wyman. Fame is the only British pop star to have achieved three number one hits with his only Top 10 chart entries.

Recorded live at a London club in 1963, finds him gravitating toward his idiosyncratic blend of R&B and jazz. This R&B-oriented set includes covers of classics by Mose Allison, Smokey Robinson, Sonny Boy Williamson, and Rufus Thomas.
