Julie Anthony and Don Burrows - Together at Last

Likewise, Don muses on the collaboration, "I heard her occasionally and was always struck by her fine vocal quality, intonation and diction, plus she displayed a feel for lyrics which really impressed me. I decided to approach Julie to see if she had any interest in trying a change of direction, a change of material, a change from orchestral backing down to a jazz quartet. My quartet. Julie shared my enthusiasm for the idea and here we are – “Together At Last.” We decided to go “boots and all” and record our very first concert. I’m glad we did. I hope you are too."
