Jun Fukamachi - On the Move - Vinyl LP

2026

A masterpiece recorded in New York in 1978 by Jun Fukamachi. Fukamachi traveled to New York on his own to hold sessions with the city's top-tier musicians—artists who were just then rising to prominence. This album is a definitive classic of the Japanese fusion genre and a landmark release that ignited the "crossover" music boom in Japan. It is no exaggeration to say that this album introduced artists such as the Brecker Brothers, Stuff, David Sanborn, and Mike Mainieri to Japanese audiences. Now available again in a long-awaited vinyl reissue.
