Love began in Los Angeles in 1965. Led by Arthur Lee, Love issued their first Elektra album in 1966. It immediately charted and became a classic Folk Rock set for the time it was released in. Over the period of less than three years, Love issued four albums. Love had released far more but the efforts were disjointed and do not accurately represent the peak period that made the Elektra albums the classics they have become.
Elektra revisit the classic sets released by Love in a nicely assembled collector’s set. The set contains all the Elektra issues that include Love (1966), Da Capo (1966), Forever Changes (1967), Four Sail (1969), and a CD filled with demos, outtakes, alternatives and more. All the sets -including the bonus disc of tracks- will feature new remasters.
