Takeo Moriyama - Mana - 2 x Vinyl LPs

2026

Experience the intense beats driven by Takeo Moriyama—a true treasure of the Japanese jazz scene and a powerhouse drummer.
This marks the first-ever vinyl release of a pivotal album recorded in April 1994, a work that sparked Moriyama's comeback.
Joined by a rock-solid lineup—Fumio Itabashi (piano), Yoshihiko Inoue (soprano & tenor sax), Eiichi Hayashi (alto sax), and Hiroshi Yoshino (bass)—Moriyama delivers a ferocious performance. It is a concentrated embodiment of his musical universe—a visceral expression of "Moriyama's body" in action.

This LP reissue includes the original liner notes written by Kazutomi Aoki at the time of the album's initial 1994 release.
