A saxophonist currently garnering significant attention in the Japanese jazz scene—he provided the saxophone performances for Dai Miyamoto, the protagonist of the animated film *BLUE GIANT*.
This is his major-label debut album, co-produced with BIGYUKI.

● After graduating from Berklee College of Music, he spent time working in New York, where he was also a member of the band "J-Squad" alongside Takuya Kuroda and others. Upon returning to Japan, he gained widespread recognition for performing the saxophone parts for the protagonist, Dai Miyamoto, in the 2023 animated film *BLUE GIANT*.
● His highly anticipated major-label debut (and third album overall) was recorded as a trio—saxophone, keyboards, and drums—with BIGYUKI serving as co-producer.
● The album consists entirely of original compositions written specifically for this project; the overall sound, shaped by the creative chemistry between the artist and BIGYUKI, is a major highlight. Naturally, the record also showcases the remarkable growth of his saxophone playing, further honed through his involvement in *BLUE GIANT*.
● Rounding out the trio alongside Baba and BIGYUKI is the New York-based South Korean drummer JK Kim. Additionally, the album features guest contributions from ermhoi, Yusuke Sase, and Kei Koganemaru on select tracks.
